| "Casa Colita" No 3 Calle Nueva, Salobrena is a splendid groundfloor townhouse in a high position with views over the town and beyond. Centrally situated near to everything it makes a great holiday base. It is all on one level and in the heart of the village so that you can easily walk everywhere.It is big enough for a group, a family or possibly 2 families together yet is not too big for a couple. Situated between the old town and the shops below this is an ideal location for the non-car person although for the drivers the double garage is an absolute blessing in this position where parking is impossible in the height of the holiday season.
|  | There is a good supermarket within a few minutes walk whichever road you go down. There are a few restaurants in the old town as well as many in the shopping area below and by the beaches. There are some nice walks around the very scenic old town and in the countryside around with tropical farms and orchards.
The area is very interesting and the people friendly. The Lecrin and Alpajarras Valleys; the Sierra Nevada mountains and Granada with its Alhambra are all very close. Although an asset a car is not essential as there is a good bus service to Granada and the towns along the coast.
Salobrena and the area is a great place for Fiesta and there are many events in February, at Easter and in May all well advertised. However it is a great place to visit at any time and the winter sun can be gorgeous!
